Cleaning While You’re Home: Privacy and Working From Home

Many clients are home during cleanings, whether they work from home, have small children or simply prefer to be there. A visit can work around you with a little planning. Here is how to set it up and how your privacy is protected.

Working From Home

  • Tell us which room you will be in. The team cleans the rest of the home first and your workspace when you take a break, or skips it.
  • Mention calls and meetings. If you have a call at a set time, let the team know so the vacuum isn’t running outside your door.
  • Choose a quieter visit time if you can, during our hours of 9 AM to 5 PM.

With Kids or Others at Home

  • Note nap times and rooms to save for last.
  • Settle pets somewhere safe and comfortable.
  • A quick pick-up of toys and clothes beforehand keeps the visit moving. See how to prepare.

Privacy

  • Our cleaners are trained and background-checked and sign NDAs.
  • We don’t share client information, such as your name, address, email or phone number, with any third party.
  • Tell us about rooms or items to leave alone, and the team will follow your instructions.
  • Put private papers and valuables away before visits.

The Same Team

The same team cleans your home whenever possible, so you aren’t meeting new people each visit, and they learn how you like the home cleaned.

If You’d Rather Not Be There

You don’t need to be home. A key, code or lockbox works; see keyless and lockbox entry.
