Deep Cleaning Add-Ons: What’s Included and What Costs Extra

When you book a cleaning, three lists decide what gets done: the standard checklist, the deep-clean items, and add-ons. Knowing which task sits on which list tells you what’s already in the price and what you would add. Here is how it breaks down at Coastal Breeze Maids.

Already in Every Standard Clean

Every visit covers bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen and living areas room by room: counters, sinks, toilets, tubs and showers, mirrors, appliance exteriors, the microwave inside and out, cabinet fronts, ceiling fans, furniture, lamps and frames, upholstered furniture vacuumed, windowsills, baseboards dusted, floors and trash. See the full cleaning checklist.

Added When You Book a Deep Clean

A deep clean includes the standard list plus:

  • Blinds dusted
  • Sliding glass doors and tracks
  • Inside of the oven
  • Inside of the fridge
  • Behind and under easily movable furniture
  • Doors wiped down
  • Cabinets cleaned inside and out
  • Tile floors steam cleaned

Those items are part of the deep-clean price, not extras. See what a deep clean includes, room by room.

Add-Ons You Can Book With Either

These can be added to a standard or a deep clean, and each adds time to the visit:

  • Indoor windows washed: not part of a deep clean; worth adding before guests, a listing or after pollen season.
  • Linens changed: useful for guest rooms and for owners who want beds made with fresh sheets.
  • Dishes cleaned: for a sink of dishes after a gathering, so the kitchen can be cleaned properly.
  • Lanai furniture and floors cleaned: outdoor living areas collect pollen, leaves and sand.
  • Grill cleaned.
  • Blinds, inside of the oven, inside of the fridge, sliding doors and tracks: these come with a deep clean, but you can add any one of them to a standard visit when only that item needs attention.
  • Deep clean: you can also add the full deep-clean list to a scheduled visit.

See add-ons and extras for the current list.

Which Add-Ons Make Sense When

  • First clean before recurring service: a full deep clean rather than single add-ons, so everything starts from the same baseline.
  • On regular service: rotate the inside of the oven, the fridge and the blinds through the year instead of booking a full deep clean.
  • Before hosting: indoor windows, linens and the lanai.
  • Before listing a home: a deep clean plus indoor windows. See home sale cleaning.
  • After a party: dishes, so the kitchen can be cleaned top to bottom.

What Changes the Price

Add-ons add time, so they add to the quote. So does the home’s condition: built-up grease, heavy soap scum or a lot of clutter all take longer than the same list in a home that is kept up. Same-day requests may carry a surcharge. Tell us everything you want done when you request your quote, or ask for an in-home estimate, so the price reflects the whole job. Build Your Own Plan

If your home needs a mix, such as a standard clean in most rooms with deep-clean items in the kitchen and add-ons for the lanai, a customized plan puts it together in one visit. See customized cleaning, or call 941-894-2543.
