Home size sets the starting point for a first cleaning quote, but it is only part of the price. The number of bathrooms, the kitchen and the home’s current condition often matter as much as square footage. Here is how a first clean scales from a small condo to a large house, and what else moves the quote. For a price for your home, call 941-894-2543 for a free quote.
Why Size Is Only the Starting Point
A first visit is usually a reset: everything in a standard clean, often with deep-clean items such as blinds, door tracks, the inside of the oven and fridge, and cabinet interiors. More rooms mean more of that list to work through. But a small home that hasn’t been cleaned in a year can take longer than a larger one that was cleaned last month. See why the first cleaning costs more.

How a First Clean Scales by Home Size
Studio or one-bedroom condo
The smallest first clean. The kitchen and bathroom take most of the time; with fewer rooms, condition makes the biggest difference to the quote. See apartment and condo cleaning.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms
The second bathroom adds noticeably to a first visit, since bathrooms are among the most detailed rooms.
Three bedrooms
More bedrooms add dusting, floors and, on a deep clean, more blinds and doors. A third bathroom or a large open kitchen adds more than a third bedroom does.
Four bedrooms and larger
Larger homes often have more bathrooms, bigger kitchens and more sliding doors and blinds, so a first deep clean is a long visit. Homes of 3,000 sq ft or more can take $150 off a deep clean with code clean150 (minimum order applies).
What Moves the Quote Beyond Size
- Bathrooms: each one adds more than a bedroom.
- Condition: time since the last professional clean, grease, soap scum and dust.
- Pets and sand: hair and grit in floors, tracks and upholstery.
- Clutter: surfaces that have to be cleared first.
- Add-ons: indoor windows, linens, dishes, the lanai and the grill. See what costs extra.
- Timing: same-day requests may carry a surcharge.

How the Price Changes After the First Visit
Once the home is at a clean baseline, regular visits follow the standard checklist and take less time, so they cost less per visit. Weekly or bi-weekly service keeps that time lowest because less builds up between visits. See recurring cleaning.
How to Get an Accurate Quote
Share your square footage, bedrooms and bathrooms, when the home was last professionally cleaned, pets, any add-ons and whether you plan to continue with regular service. You can request a quote by phone or online, or ask for an in-home estimate so we can see the home first.
New customers get $100 off their first two cleans with code clean100 (codes can’t be combined). See deep cleaning or call 941-894-2543.
