It starts with a conversation. When you call or reach out for a quote, we’ll ask about your home — square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, any specific areas that need extra attention, and how often you’re thinking about scheduling.
From there we give you a straightforward quote. No surprise fees, no pressure to add services you don’t need.

Most clients choose weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly service. We’ll help you think through what makes sense based on your home and household — but there’s no commitment required upfront. You can start with one visit and decide from there.

Confirming the Details
Before your first visit, we confirm the scope of the cleaning, your preferred schedule, and any access instructions if you won’t be home. We’ll also note any preferences — products you want us to use or avoid, rooms to prioritize, areas to skip.
The First Visit: Setting the Standard
The first cleaning visit is usually more thorough than a typical recurring visit.
That’s intentional. Before we can maintain a home, we need to get it to a baseline standard. Depending on how long it’s been since a professional clean, that first visit may take longer than subsequent ones — we work through buildup, pay extra attention to bathrooms and kitchens, and make sure every area we’ll be maintaining going forward is starting from a clean slate.
Think of it like a reset. After that, recurring visits are about maintaining the standard we set on day one.
Some clients prefer to start with a dedicated deep cleaning before moving to a recurring schedule. That’s a great option if the home hasn’t been professionally cleaned in a while or needs more detailed attention in specific areas.

Every recurring visit covers the areas that need regular attention to stay clean. Here’s what that looks like room by room.

The kitchen is a high-use space that collects grease, crumbs, and buildup quickly. Every visit includes:
- Countertops, backsplashes, and sinks cleaned and wiped down
- Stovetop and exterior appliance surfaces cleaned
- Cabinet fronts wiped
- Microwave exterior cleaned
- Floors swept and mopped
Bathrooms
Bathrooms need consistent attention to stay hygienic and free of buildup. Every visit includes:
- Sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs disinfected
- Mirrors and fixtures cleaned
- Tile and grout wiped down
- Floors swept and mopped
Living Areas
- Dusting of furniture, shelves, blinds, and accessible surfaces
- Vacuuming of carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
- Hard floors swept and mopped
- High-touch surfaces disinfected — doorknobs, light switches, handles
Bedrooms
- Surfaces and furniture dusted
- Floors vacuumed or swept and mopped

What’s Not Included by Default
Some tasks fall outside a standard recurring clean. These are available as add-ons:

- Inside refrigerator cleaning

Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. To reschedule a visit, let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we’ll do our best to find another time. With less than 24 hours’ notice, or if we can’t access your home, the full price of the cleaning may be charged.
If you’re going out of town or hosting an event, let us know at least 24 hours ahead and we’ll do our best to move the visit.
What to Do Before Your Cleaning Team Arrives
You don’t need to clean before we come. That’s the whole point. But a few simple steps help us work efficiently and get the most out of every visit:
- Pick up loose items — Clothing, toys, and dishes left on surfaces take time to move before we can clean underneath them. The less we have to work around, the more thoroughly we can clean.
- Secure pets — For the comfort of your pets and the efficiency of our team, having animals in a separate room or area helps.
- Leave access instructions — If you won’t be home, make sure entry details are confirmed in advance.
- Note any changes — If you want us to focus on a specific area or skip something during a particular visit, let us know ahead of time.
That’s it. Everything else is on us.
What Happens If Something Isn’t Right?
We have a straightforward policy: if something was missed or didn’t meet your expectations, let us know within 24 hours and we’ll come back to make it right. No argument, no runaround.
We do a walkthrough before we leave every visit to catch anything that needs attention. But we’re human, and occasionally something gets missed. When that happens, we want to know about it and fix it — that’s how we keep clients for years, not just visits.
Vacation Rental Owners

Common Questions About Getting Started
Do I have to sign a contract? No. Coastal Breeze Maids doesn’t require contracts for recurring service. You can adjust your schedule or cancel at any time.
Will I get the same cleaners each visit? We send the same team whenever possible, so they get to know your home and your preferences.
What if I want to add a service or make a change? Just let us know before your next visit. We’re flexible and happy to adjust the scope of each cleaning based on what you need.
How do I pay? Arrange your preferred payment method when you set up service, or leave cash or a check for the team.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule? Let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment and we’ll do our best to reschedule. With less than 24 hours’ notice, or if we can’t access your home, the full price of the cleaning may be charged. There are no contracts, so you can change your schedule or cancel recurring service at any time.
